The Dodge Challenger exudes powers and attitude from every curve and crevice! Things have only been dialed up (quite a few notches!) for the 2019 model year with a revamp of the entire Challenger lineup! The 2019 model year is introducing the most powerful Hellcat model ever created -- known as the Redeye, the only all-wheel drive muscle coupe in America, and the most affordable V8 engine in the muscle car segment! THE NEW LINEUP
The new 2019 Challenger lineup consists of eight trim levels ranging from the entry-level SXT to the brand new and beyond impressive Hellcat Redeye model!
The SXT model is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. This award-winning engine comes mated to the eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This V6 engine is the most affordable in the muscle car segment! The SXT RWD model's starting MSRP for the 2019 model year is $27,295.
The new Challenger lineup also offers the only all-wheel-drive models in the muscle coupe segment -- the SXT AWD and GT AWD. These trims come outfitted with a class-exclusive all-wheel-drive system with front-axle disconnect. MSRPs start at $30,295 and $32,995 respectively.
The GT RWD model is also powered by the Pentastar V6 engine and comes outfitted with performance enhanced features like cloth Houndstooth patterned upholstery, paddle shifters, steering, suspension, splitters, and a hood with scoop. This trim offers a starting MSRP of $29,995.
The R/T trim level kicks the power up a notch with a high-torque Hemi 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. This engine offers two transmission options, the eight-speed automatic TorqueFlite, and a manual six-speed. With a starting price of $34,100, this Challenger offers the most inexpensive V8 engine in the segment.
The R/T Scat Pack model offers the most muscle for your buck in the segment. Underneath the hood, you will find a 392 Hemi V8 engine that generates an outstanding 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The starting MSRP for this model is $40,000. Plus a Widebody package for this trim level has been made available for the 2019 model year!
The SRT Hellcat model provides some serious roar with more performance-focused features than ever before! It's also more powerful than any year before. The starting MSRP for this model is $58,650. That is more than 5k less than the previous model year!
Last but certainly not least is the brand new Hellcat Redeye model! Underneath the hood of this bad boy is a supercharged Hemi 6.2-liter V8 that outputs an outstanding 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. This immense power sends the Redeye screeching from 0-60 miles per hour in less than 3.4 seconds. With a 10.8 second quarter-mile time, the Redeye is the most powerful, quickest, and fastest muscle car ever.
