How customizable is the 2018 Dodge Durango?

The 2018 Dodge Durango comes standard with leather and suede seating. Both the first and second row can add heated seating. With three rows of interchangeable seating, this SUV has the possibility of over 50 unique seating configurations. Some of the seating options may include captain's chairs or fold and tumble seating, ranging from a standard of five seats to a total of 7 seats. The Durango is so roomy that adults will be comfortably seated in any of the three rows. Additional technical features available include high-resolution 9-inch screens which can be added to the back of the front seats for movies or gaming and comes with wireless headphones and a remote, three-zone climate control, keyless ignition and entry, and more. What type of horsepower is available?

All engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission that is available for a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 3.6-liter V6 is standard with all models, but the SRT. This engine has 293 horsepower with a single exhaust and 295 horsepower with a double exhaust. The V6 engine can tow 6,200 pounds and has a standard engine stop-start to lower emissions. The R/T and Citadel models have an option to upgrade to a 5.7-liter V8 engine, which will allow for 360 horsepower. The SRT model has a 6.4-liter V8 engine and has 475 horsepower and a best-in-class tow rating of 8,700 lbs. Both the V8 engines can deactivate four of their eight cylinders when they have lighter hauls in a smooth transition between the two settings. This deactivation allows for a higher fuel economy.

What safety features can be added to the 2018 Dodge Durango?

Many of the 60 plus available safety features are standard on the higher trims and can be added to the lower trims. A few of the safety and security features available include: Front Park Assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
