The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been a top seller for Jeep over the past decade and the features and trim levels get better and better each year. With 12 different models to choose from, it is easy to find the features that you want, packaged into a vehicle that you love. Today we are going to take a high level look at each trim level to see what standout features you can expect from each.

Laredo

The 2019 Grand Cherokee is going to start off with its base model Laredo which offers a 3.6L V6 engine that is good for an average 26 miles per gallon on the highway. You will also enjoy blind spot monitoring, a rear backup camera, rear park assist, a 7” touchscreen, 7” digital cluster display, keyless Enter ‘N Go, and 17” wheels

Laredo E

The Laredo E is going to feature many of the same features as the Laredo, but with a few upgrades to make it standout and be a little more stylish. You will notice upgrades such as bright roof side rails, eight way power drive seat, available 18” wheels, and an upgradable 8.4” touchscreen radio.

Upland

On the Upland trim level, you will get many of the standard features found on previous models, but the Upland really stands out in its newly available features. On this trim level you will get a security and convenience group, 20” gloss black wheels with all-terrain tires, gloss black exterior finishes and desert sky accents on the exterior badging. You will also notice black interior with blue accent stitching and gloss black tow hooks for a new look.

Altitude

Getting into the more luxurious models, we have the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. The Altitude features 20” gloss black aluminum wheels, gloss black exterior accents, an 84” touchscreen with navigations, a heated leather wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, blind spot monitoring, a power liftgate, and a remote vehicle start system.

Limited

Kicking it up a notch in the luxury department is the limited trim level. This level will add both performance and amenities that are sure to appeal to those with a slightly larger budget. The Limited trim level features many of the same features as previous model but with upgraded heated Capri leather trimmed driver and passenger seats, heated steering wheel, 18” polished wheels, power liftgate, heated mirrors, and a Quadra-Trac II 4×4 system with Selec-Terrain management System for 4×4 models.

Limited X

To take things to the next level on the Limited model, you can opt for the Limited X which includes many great new features for the Limited model. This trim level includes unique features such as 20” low gloss Granite Crystal wheels, a modified SRT hood, Granite Crystal exterior accents, black interior with liquid titanium finishes and heritage seats, and distinctive Limited X Badges.

Trailhawk

Getting into more of the off-road ready Grand Cherokees, we have the Trailhawk trim model. This model is going to feature 18” Trailhawk wheels with all terrain tires, a Quarda-Drive II 4×4 system, rear electronic limited slip differential, Quadra-Lift air suspension, skid plates, red tow hooks, Trailhawk hood decal, leather trimmed seats with suede inserts and red accent stitching, a 9 speaker Alpine audio system, and dual bright exhaust tips.
Overland

For those who like to venture into more of the overlanding style of trail exploring, the Overland trim model is going to be the best suited Grand Cherokee for you. The Overland is going to feature unique 20” wheels, a Quadra Lift air suspension system, panoramic roof, Bi-Xenon headlights with signature LED daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers, Nappa leather-trimmed interior with real wood and leather wrapped heated steering wheel, and a 9 speaker Alpine audio system.

High Altitude

Moving on up the High Altitude trim level, you are going to get many of the same features found on previous models, but with some noticeable upgrades. Here you will get 20” wheels with a Granite Crystal low gloss finish, low gloss Granite Crystal exterior features, Black Nappa perforated leather-trimmed seats, a panoramic sunroof, Jeep active safety group, trailer tow group, and black chrome dual exhaust tips.

Summit

For those looking for the most luxurious Jeep Grand Cherokee that money can buy, before of course the performance versions, should take a look at the Summit trim level. This trim level is going to feature all of the high end features that you can get on the 2019 Grand Cherokee. These include a 19 speaker Harman Kardon audio system, dual pane panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated first row leather trimmed seats, illuminated sill plates, premium headliner, interior metal package, 20” fully polished aluminum wheels, and much more.

SRT

If you are wanting to get into more of the performance sector of the 2019 Grand Cherokee, one of the two options is going to be the SRT. The SRT is going to features a 6.4L engine that puts out an impressive 475 horsepower and 470 torque. To make sure that you put that power to the ground the SRT is equipped with Bilstein active damping suspension, Brembo high performance brakes, launch control, Quadra Trac 4×4, dynamic driving modes, exclusive 20” carbon split spoke wheels wrapped in run-flat tires, race inspired interior, flat bottom steering wheel, carbon fiber accents, and heated and ventilated front leather seats with suede inserts.

Trackhawk

Finishing off the 2019 Grand Cherokee trims is the famous Trackhawk edition. If your budget allows for it, the Trackhawk is going to be the most powerful Jeep that has ever been offered with a supercharge 6.2L engine, the Trackhawk puts out an unheard of 707 horsepower and 645 torque that reaches 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. You will also get Bilstein active damping suspension 20” forged wheels, an 8.4” touchscreen, yellow painted Brembo brakes, black chrome quad exhaust, and leathers/suede Nappa performance seats.
