Mopar Tire Special
Oct 4, 2019

When shopping for a new truck, you want something that not only looks good, but also that gets the job done. The light duty offering from Ram, the 1500, has been voted Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year for 2019. The Rebel has been included in the 1500 line since 2015. Whether at work or at play, the Ram 1500 Rebel is a sight to behold. It has been designed for those who enjoy time on and off road and want a truck with attitude.

2019 RAM 1500 Rebel Exterior
Attitude is everything, and the Rebel is full of it. At first glance, the Rebel seems to say, “Don’t mess with me.” The Rebel features the signature RAM grille along with black exterior trim, black fender flares and a vented, domed hood. Additional lift in the suspension and all terrain tires give the Rebel a ready-for-anything appearance.

2019 RAM 1500 Rebel Interior
The interior of the Ram 1500 Rebel is designed to be a mixture of comfort and function. Gears and knobs are large and located within easy reach of the driver. The standard seats are cloth and vinyl, but you can opt for leather instead. Drivers will find easy to read gauges as well as easy to use displays. There are storage nooks and charging ports to make daily travel a little more convenient. Some optional interior features include heated seats, heated steering wheel, an 8.4 inch UConnect touchscreen display, adjustable pedals, remote start and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

2019 RAM 1500 Rebel Performance
The Rebel gives you a choice when it comes to the engine. All engine options are paired with an eight speed automatic transmission. The standard engine is a 3.6 liter, 24 valve V6. The other engine choices are 5.7 liter HEMI V8s. The difference between the two HEMI options is that one features a supplemental 130 ft-lb eTorque. The eTorque option is a mild-hybrid engine, and there is a standard eTorque option on the V6 engine. You also have the option of choosing between rear wheel drive and four wheel drive models.

2019 RAM 1500 Rebel Towing
The towing capacity of the Rebel varies slightly depending on which cab and bed configuration you choose and which engine option you choose. Rear wheel drive models have a slight advantage when it comes to towing capacity. The maximum towing capacity for the Quad cab with the short bed equipped with the HEMI V8 and rear wheel drive is approximately 11, 540 pounds. If you have a Crew cab with the larger bed and four wheel drive with the HEMI V8, you can expect to tow around 11, 340 pounds. The V6 model can tow around 7,400 pounds depending on cab, bed and whether you have chosen four wheel drive or rear wheel drive.
